second nature

This is the biggest drawing on paper I've ever done so far. 9ft wide... It's still in the works, so I'll post better photos of it when it's done.

googleyes

Sometimes when I'm bored on a computer, I'll take virtual tours of random places in the world using the street view. I really like this treehouse in Tokyo!

Lincoln Beach

We visited lincoln beach the other day in New Orleans East. I have not been there in about ten years since they tore down the structures. There used to be empty pools and a few buildings in different stages of decay, completely covered in graffiti. The site is the historic segregated amusement park. There were plans to reopen the beach in 2002, but so far nothing done yet. There's a lot of construction happening on the levee all the way up the coast, though. We had to walk through the construction site to get there. Near the water there were these green lady bugs I've never seen before. They were crawling all over some lures that looked similar in color to them.
